Originally intended for children of members of Hillwood Presbyterian Church, the school has been providing child care since March, 1965.  The center was later opened to the entire community.

We are very excited about Hillwood's achievements and reputation.  Our commitment is to give your child the personal attention he or she needs in a caring, interactive environment.    

The Center has maintained the highest three-star license given by the state of Tennessee.  The Hillwood Playcare staff has 161 years of combined teaching experience.  The school also employs both an art and a music teacher, which is unique among preschools.
