Holy Ground. That’s what we’re invited to be pondering this week.
When have you noticed this week that you are standing on Holy Ground?
When peace comes amid the chaos and uncertainty of sending your young adult back to college?
When you are offered forgiveness after you snapped in your anxiety?
When you lifted your eyes to see the amazing sunrise or marvel at the sliver of the waxing moon?
When someone called, texted, sent greetings at the very moment you felt so alone amid the long isolation of CoVid.
When something — finally — made you laugh. One of those deep belly laughs that left your cheeks hurting but your heart totally clear.
Holy Ground is everywhere — for those willing to turn aside to see. The Voice of God comes from burning bushes AND a whole lot more. Just ask Moses — or any faithful follower! (And maybe read Exodus 3:1-15 to be well informed!)
Blessings for the rest of the week and see you Sunday for worship in the virtual world!!!
